Home for the Summer!

During the precious moments of Summer, we visit our lake house.  We camp out in our woods by converting our SUV into a camper.  We laze at home with full blast air conditioning, movies and snacks.  It’s different than our regular seasons of routine and structure.  Summer is swimming, late bedtimes, barbecues, movie nights, convertible rides, fishing, trampoline parks, catching fireflies and…FUN!!

For us, though, the unique consistency comes in making every place we stay our home.  When we have a lazy day at home, toys come out, comfy clothes are the norm and snacks are everywhere!  At the lake house, we bring homemade meals, new bedding and tablets to create that cozy feeling that, here too, we are home!  When we camp out, the fun is in packing the SUV with movies, snacks, battery lights and fluffy blankets.  Indeed, no matter where you make your place in space, there is no place like home!
